Whether you’re rearranging the interior of your home, taking on a big renovation, or simply need guidance before you make a few big furniture purchases, an interior designer can help save you a significant amount of time and money.

We want you to feel comfortable and have all the information to anticipate costs. Helping you understanding the fee for our services is key to our success.

In order to better understand the cost of hiring a designer, it’s important to understand the service you’ll be paying for. The two main ways we charge are by the hour for design services, time involved in goods procurement, and by selling items purchased through our designer trade resources to complete the project

Design services

Our role as your interior designer is to consult with you to create a space that suits both your lifestyle and your taste. Depending on your project we will do things like create furniture layouts to maximize flow, design architectural details like cabinetry, fireplace, columns, trim, we will help you select finishes (flooring, walls, cabinetry, tiles, plumbing) furniture, lighting and accessories. This could be a mix of drafted drawings, presentations, 3D renderings or mood boards.

We often wear many hats within a project. In the case of larger renovation projects, we coordinate with contractors and fabricators.

Goods Delivered

We select and design furniture, window treatment, lighting and décor based on your budget and help you prioritize your needs for the space. We purchase furniture items on your behalf, organize orders, deliveries and installation. We charge you less than the retail price on all items purchased on your behalf through our designer trade resources to complete the project. A purchase management fee is added to the designer’s cost of the labor and/or item and is included in the resale price to you.

Every charge and fee will be clearly outlined in your contract and reflected in the invoices. Ready to learn more about what your project would cost? Take the first step and reach out today.
