OUR DESIGN PROCESS
1. PROJECT LAUNCH
We meet with you to learn about your company, its values, mission, branding, and culture. This initial meeting helps us learn what you hope to gain from the design.
2. INTERIOR DESIGN CONCEPT
Based on your project requirements and preferences, we provide a floor plan complete with furniture layout and architectural details. Once you give us your feedback, necessary changes will be made.
3. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Once you have approved our interior design concept, our design team develops the concept. In this phase, we hone in on all details, develop and finalize drawings, select finishes (flooring, walls, cabinetry, countertops, tile) plumbing fixtures, and appliances.
We collaborate with other parties in your project such as the architect, cabinet maker, contractor, and sub-contractors for the most effective design development.
4. FINISHES & FURNITURE APPROVAL
During this phase, we finalize finishes and furniture selection and prepare schedules and necessary drawings for contractors. All furniture selection is finalized and approved by you. A budget is created, and we double-check prices to ensure we are on track.
5. GOODS PURCHASING
Depending on your requirements, we can act as your purchasing agent, or help you purchase directly.
6. HARD GOODS INSTALLATION COORDINATION
At this phase, your vision comes to life. Hard goods are items permanently attached to the building and are installed during this phase. Hard goods include flooring, wallcovering, paint colors, appliances, woodwork, tile, and surfaces. Our firm will help coordinate the details with all relevant parties. We visit the project periodically to observe and familiarize ourselves with the progress and quality of work as it relates to the interior design concept.
7. SOFT GOODS INSTALLATION
When all of the hard goods are completed and the space is ready, we schedule the installation of window treatment and furniture. We coordinate all aspects of the final installation and prepare the space for your arrival.
8. FINAL REVEAL AND FINISHING TOUCHES
This is the moment you have been waiting for! Once you have had a chance to take it all in and enjoy your new space for a few days, we do a final walk-through with you. We create a punch list of any small items that need to be taken care of and attend to any loose ends right away. Then we leave you to enjoy your new work environment.
