NEW CONSTRUCTION

  • It is never too early to bring us on board with a new construction project. Once you select your lot, we become a member of your building team from the inception of the project.
  • With early involvement on a new construction project, we ensure your home flows to fit your lifestyle rather than fitting furniture in a box.
  • As a member of your construction team, we work cohesively with your architect, builder, consultants, and sub-contractors. Together, we build your dream home.
  • Early involvement with new construction has saved our clients thousands of dollars and heartache of regret − “I wish I'd thought of that before we constructed this wall!” We work alongside our clients to think things through and anticipate their current and future living space needs.

RENOVATION

OUR DESIGN PROCESS

1. PROJECT LAUNCH

We meet with you to learn about your preferences, what is important to you and how to make your space blend perfectly with your lifestyle.

2. INTERIOR DESIGN CONCEPT

Based on your project requirements and preferences, we provide a floor plan with furniture layout and architectural details. Once you give us your feedback, necessary changes will be made.

3. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

Once you have approved our interior design concept, our design team will commence with developing the concept. Design development is the phase where we hone in on all details, develop and finalize drawings, select finishes (flooring, walls, cabinetry, countertops, tile) plumbing fixtures, and appliances.

We collaborate with other parties involved in your project such as the architect, cabinet maker, contractor, and sub-contractors for the most effective design development.

4. FINISHES & FURNITURE APPROVAL

During this phase, we finalize finishes and furniture selection and prepare schedules and necessary drawings for contractors. All furniture selection is finalized.  Proposals are sent out for your approval.

5. GOODS PURCHASING

While you live your life we take care of all the behind the scene details for you. More than half of the project falls into this category. Proposals are accepted, orders are placed, and shipments tracked. We provide damage remediation, scheduling, delivery, and installation supervision. Our happy clients love this service.

6. HARD GOODS INSTALLATION COORDINATION

At this phase, your vision comes to life. Hard goods are items permanently attached to the building and are installed during this phase. Hard goods include flooring, wallcovering, paint colors, appliances, woodwork, tile, and surfaces. Our firm will help coordinate the details with all relevant parties. We visit the project periodically to observe and to familiarize ourselves with the progress and quality of work as it relates to the interior design concept

7. SOFT GOODS INSTALLATION

When all of the hard goods are completed and the space is ready, we schedule the installation of window treatment and furniture. We coordinate all aspects of the final installation and prepare the space for your arrival.

8. FINAL REVEAL AND FINISHING TOUCHES

This is the moment you have been waiting for! You will walk into your home and see your dream come true. Once you have had a chance to take it all in and enjoy your new space for a few days, we do a final walk-through with you. We create a punch list of any small items that need to be taken care of and attend to any loose ends right away. Then we leave you to enjoy your beautiful home with your family and friends for years to come!
