It’s January, and the interior design color trends for 2022 have all forecasted that greens, specifically muted tones, will be big this year! While everyone in the industry confirms their trending green paint color, we wanted to get in on the fun and choose ours. We looked at Sherwin Williams, Farrow & Ball, Benjamin Moore, and alike to select our favorite. While we loved them all, we could only pick one, and Farrow & Ball’s Breakfast Room Green is our winner!
This lively green is named after the east-facing room designed for eating the first meal of the day. This color creates a perfect background for artwork and natural wood tones. It is beautiful in natural sunlight and soft candlelight and brings warmth to any space.
This green pairs well with blue and white. In the photo from Farrow and Ball’s website, they chose Stone Blue and Schoolhouse White to highlight the beauty of this green. The Credenza, painted Farrow & Ball’s Stone Blue, is a soft contrast against the green and is paired with a monochromatic vase which allows the flowers to pop. The floor, painted Farrow & Ball’s Schoolhouse White, provides a neutral base for these bold colors. We love this picture!
