We recently helped our longtime clients refresh their great room to reflect their personalities and design a space that suited their lifestyle.

For years, the space was filled with a mix of older and inherited pieces that didn’t fully reflect them. They love color and pattern and were especially drawn to rich cranberry tones and layered greens, so we leaned all the way in. We designed the room around a beloved art piece, then built the space from there, layering in a custom rug, thoughtfully designed custom furniture, and accessories in high-end fabrics to bring warmth, energy, and personality. Every furniture piece is sized specifically for the room, and we went through the balance of all fabric and trim selections together to ensure everything felt cohesive.
The finished space works well with a foundation of solid cream upholstery, while the accessories bring in the happy pops of color. Wood end tables ground the space, a horsehair console adds texture, and stools are positioned for easy views of both the TV and kitchen. Matching lamps keep things from feeling too busy, organic florals add softness, and greenery brings life year-round.
