I kicked off the year in an exciting way – attending the Maison et Objet interior design show just outside of Paris.

This design show provides the opportunity to learn about truly exceptional finishes. Finding passionate and unique artisans is why I prioritize attending events like this design show, as it helps position me to truly bring my clientele’s design dreams to life.

FRENCH-SATIONAL TRENDS

Soft, flowing curves and a palette ranging from vibrant hues to soothing creams took center stage at the home show, grounding us while evoking a sense of playfulness.

How to Integrate Softness into your Home and Work Environment.

While trends can be inspiring they often come from external influences. Our approach focuses on designing interiors that reflect you and your lifestyle. If you’re looking to incorporate softness into your space without making a major commitment, here are a few easy ways to do so:

1. Embrace Curves – Introduce round pillows, curved candlesticks, or sculptural accessories to mirror the flowing lines seen in contemporary furniture.

2. Play with Color – Paint an accent wall in a fresh hue to add depth and interest. The best part? If you’re ready for a change, it’s easy to repaint. Small touches like these can create a more inviting and harmonious atmosphere in both home and work environment. For example, in the guest bedroom below we selected a paint color for the accent wall that complements the bedding.
