Summer is such an exciting time! The days are longer, the weather is warmer, and some of us have already started taking vacations.
Growing up, my family would be away the whole month of August, as all the suppliers for my parents’ business closed shop. These five weeks of family vacation were a gift as we got to enjoy time together creating beautiful memories. Quality time with our parents was very limited the rest of the year.
My family & I spent our summers in Moustiers Sainte Marie, in Provence. Listed as one of the most beautiful villages of France, we rented a house in the middle of a lavender field, and spent our days at the lac du Verdon, a man-made lake perfect for water sports.
